The current trend is to move from light points to linear lighting, based on LED strips.
During operation, the belt generates heat that needs to be dissipated from it. Otherwise, the tape may wear out prematurely. Special GLAX aluminum profiles are used to dissipate heat from the belt. In order to effectively dissipate heat from the tape to the aluminum profile, the tape must adhere to it with its entire surface. Therefore, before soldering the LED strip into the GLAX profile, it is necessary to degrease the middle of it.
The recessed profile (vreznoi) is used where we want to obtain a smooth surface, so that the profile does not collide, for example, with a drawer or the front of a drawer.
For a correct assembly, it is necessary to carry out a milling of 15 mm wide and at least 5 mm deep. Special dentitions will press on the edge of the plate. The ends of the profile are closed with luminescent caps (although in context they refer to caps that seal/close the ends).
Do not use adhesives or mounting silicones for mounting.
